Steve Roberts PGA Professional
Steve was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He graduated from
Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, FL, then attended Florida
State University on a golf scholarship through 1982. Turning
professional in 1983, Steve became the Assistant Golf Pro at Riviera
Country Club in Ormond Beach, FL, until 1986. He went on to become
the Assistant Golf Professional at Oceanside Country Club in Ormond
Beach from 1987-1991. From 1992-1994 he was the Teaching Pro at
Wyantenuck Country Club in Great Barrington, MA., and became a
member of the PGA in 1993. Moving back to Florida, Steve worked as
the Director of Instruction at Scott’s Driving Range in Port Orange
from 1994-1996. He went on to become the Director of Golf
Instruction at Niagara Falls Country Club in New York from
1997-2008. He again returned to Florida where he has been teaching
privately for the last three years.
Joanie Roberts
Joanie graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and taught middle school math for many years. An accomplished amateur golfer, Joanie has competed in local tournaments and numerous amateur events across the country. She’s played in the South Atlantic Ladies Invitational (SALLY) at Oceanside Country Club in Ormond Beach, FL, for the past twenty-five years. The SALLY is a part of the Orange Blossom Golf Circuit. She also competed as a team member for the State of Florida against rival states for four years. Joanie earned the title of Volusia Women's Amateur Champion nine times and Club Champion at Riviera Country Club in Ormond Beach numerous times.
